Hello Ladies!
Thanks for your vote of confidence in electing me as your President. My congratulations to all the new officers; however, we still have a few positions available.
We also have a few projects that we’ll be tackling: one is “Hair For Kids”.
Diane Whitehead is the Chairperson and I am sure she can use plenty of help. This event will be held on Saturday, August 2nd.
Our other event will be on Saturday, July 12th, 9 a.m. till 12 noon. We will cook and serve breakfast; this will be open to the public. This event will be an “All Post Membership Drive”. We’ll need lots of help cooking, serving, cleanup, and handing out information about the AMVETS and their purpose.

We need ideas for money making projects which will be designated for our Building Fund. Remember to keep track of all your volunteer hours and turn them in each month. There are worksheets in the office for this purpose. This will make it easier to tally them for our reports. Our goal this year is to help our Veterans first, and work towards finding a permanent home for our Post 2003.
Keep in mind, we work as a team to help Veterans and their families and we also work with the community. Let our motto this year be … “Working Together”.
