From The Sons of the AMVETS Commander
Greetings!
I would like to thank everybody that helped cook breakfast on Fathers’ Day. I hope all the fathers enjoyed their special breakfast and had a great day.
I look forward to serving another year as the Sons Commander. I think we will be able to come up with some new and fun ideas for the upcoming year. I really look forward to working with Ed and Sandy as they begin their first year as AMVETS Commander, and Ladies Auxiliary President. At the same time I would like to thank Gary and Retta for all their time and effort they’ve put in over the past couple of years.
Once again we will be having the “Hair For Kids” bowling on the first Saturday of August. Any donations, door prizes and/or sponsors are appreciated.
As always, please watch the calendar for a list of upcoming Sons Events. We will have our elections at the May meeting.
Don’t forget the Sons meeting is held the second Sunday of the month at noon. Please try to attend. We always need new ideas and suggestions. If you see the Sons are having a dinner, please try to help out.
